The base 535i gets its power from a turbocharged 3.0L inline 6-cylinder engine that makes 300 hp and connects to a 6-speed manual. The 550i has even more power with its big turbocharged V8 engine and a 6-speed manual transmission to emphasize the performance nature of the 5-series.
Each trim level of the 5-series comes standard with an audio system, alloy wheels, rain sensing wipers, leather, power adjustable seats with memory, power sunroof, and antilock brakes.

The RWD 2011 BMW 550i is a fun to drive, sophisticated luxury sedan. This trim level of BMW’s popular 5-Series has a 3.0-liter dual overhead cam (DOHC), 24-valve, inline 6-cylinder engine with TwinPower Turbo technology that puts out 400 HP.
